How do you see God?

People say, "Oh, God is my friend!" "He's my Savior, the lover of my soul!"

He is our savior by sending our Lord Jesus Christ to die on the Cross for you and me! The common names everyone says about Him are "Our Provider," "Jehovah-Jireh," "God with us," or "Emmanuel."

One of my favorite names for the Lord is God El Roi, which means God who sees Me !!! Based on Genesis 16:13.

He saw me when I was born prematurely; the doctors were not giving my family much hope for my twin brother and me. Side note: We are 34 years old now! He is "the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, saith the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty".-Revelation 1:8, because God has the first and last say regardless of what the world says about you.

He has been my "Jehovah Gibbor Milchamah," " the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle." Psalm 24:8 He fought for me when I was at my university during one of my many Spanish classes, and the professor called me stupid. I didn't know at the time, but someone reported him. The professor genuinely apologized and even opened up to me about personal things that were going on in his life. I remember trying to encourage my professor. I felt led to pray, and I remember asking, "Can I pray for you?" And let's call him Mr. Spanish. He said yes, without hesitation, to my surprise. I felt the weight lift off of him and myself. We ended up being good friends after the semester was over, and my struggling grade went up to a B-.

I say this to encourage you that sometimes God will put you in situations where you might deal with panic attacks. You might be standing outside of the university building, thinking about dropping out, telling your family afterward because you just can't deal with someone like Mr. Spanish, whom you had for every single class because of your major.

The Lord could be using the situation you are facing for you to be the light, to say a prayer, because it's not about you; it's about the people attached to you.

The enemy is trying to stop you.

But great news! The Lord gave me the victory. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree, and I became an interpreter and translator. He was the first person outside of my family to know about my job to this day. I remember him saying you are the perfect candidate for that job.

Will you be that willing vessel? Will you be obedient even when you don't want to?
